Our South African focus is on understanding your wealth creation needs, and on marrying these with the very best, hand-picked, residential property investment opportunities. In so doing, we act as your independent guide and provide you with tailor-made services that match your property investment needs.

- I want to build my buy-to-let portfolio, but don’t have the time to find the right deals. I can no longer find investment properties at the right prices in order to achieve great rental yields and positive cash flow. I want a positive cash flow (or close thereto) from day one

The aim of YDL's Property Partner Programme is to:
- Buy investment properties at substantial discounts, so generating immediate equity for investors (typically a few hundred thousand rands, depending on the size of the deal)
- Buy – in prime areas – at yields of around 10%
- Ensure positive cash flow (or close thereto) from day one (assuming a 90% bond)
YDL is actively involved in the market and is constantly looking for distressed property investment sales and/or below market value deals, meeting the above criteria. YDL has packaged a methodology for accessing distressed property investment opportunities, which are found through networks, our database, agents, sourcing agents appointed by YDL, auction sales, sales in execution and properties in possession. This is a specialised space and using our services will allow you to tap into our market expertise, including an assessment of when to buy, what to buy, and in which areas to buy. And, our expertise will help you manage the risks inherent in such purchases. Property investments are available across all price segments, depending on your appetite, financial capacity and risk profile. At this point in time, the Programme geographically targets Gauteng and Durban (including the North and South Coast).

International opportunities
International opportunities are focused on Western and Eastern Europe and are conceived and managed from our Irish offices. Investors are able to access international opportunities through an expert and trusted partner. These include investments in the UK, Ireland, Poland and Slovakia.
The YDL European Property Fund 2 is open for investment.
YDL is currently working hard at sourcing commercial property deals in Ireland. Information on these deals will be made available as and when they are concluded.
